ELECTIONS ARE COMING!
/Tohono O’odham Nation 2019 General Elections are set for Saturday, May 25, with polls opening at 6AM and closing by 6PM. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! Come down to the Sells District Office to see the official voter listing of eligible voters to check for your name! Also see the candidates running for Sells District Administration and Council on the sample ballots. And remember to VOTE VOTE VOTE!

THIS FRIDAY FROM 4-7PM, YOUTH ARE INVITED FOR AN EASTER ARTS & CRAFTS NIGHT TO GET YOU IN THE EASTER SPIRIT! CRAFTS, FOOD AND TRANSPORTATION ARE AVAILABLE, PLEASE RSVP AT THE SELLS DISTRICT OFFICE OR CALL. FOR MORE DETAILS SEE BELOW OR SPEAK TO EVELYN JOSE, YOUTH COORDINATOR FOR THE DISTRICT.
Next Wednesday, April 17, a workshop on water heater maintenance will be held at the District Office for all interested community members to learn how to care and make the best use of your home water heater. Transportation will be provided and you may call the office to make arrangements! Workshop will begin at 5:30PM and you can contact Margaret Listo, District’s Community Liaison, for questions.
Next Saturday, April 20, the Sells District Youth Council will be hosting a road cleanup on Ge Oidag Road (Route 24) in honor of 2019 Earth Day. For more information, please contact the youth representatives or call the office. We hope these events provide ample opportunity for all members of the community to become involved!

RODEO WEEKEND....!
/We want to wish all persons attending the Rodeo & Fair this weekend outside Sells to have a great time and stay safe!! Our Shell Diner Kitchen will be open late on Friday until 11PM and opening Saturday evening from 4-11PM.
We also want to extend congratulations and send well wishes to Sophia Stevens as she takes on the Miss Tohono O’odham Nation 1st Attendant duties tomorrow!!!
Finally, vendor spots are still open for the District’s ramada vending area at $100.00 a day, please fill out application and submit money order at the front desk. Paperwork can also be found here under the Economic Development page.
