Upcoming Events

Sells District hosts a list of annual or semi-regular events, including many of the Tohono O’odham Nation, such as the largest social event for the tribe, the annual Rodeo & Fair. Past events for the District have included Back To School, Halloween Pumpkin Carving, Youth Water Day, Domestic Violence Awareness and movie nights for the youth and gatherings for our elders. Attractions

Nearby amenities and attractions include the District’s Sells Service Station on Main Road, south of the Komckud E-Wa’osidk Waptto Vending area, which is open seven days a week and features home-made local foods. Within the Bashas Shopping Plaza you can find the Your Styles Salon and Federal Credit Bank. The tribe’s Himdag Ki: Cultural Center & Museum is located 10 miles south of Sells on Indian Route 19. The Kitt Peak National Observatory is 33 miles east on State Route 86 and up the Kitt Peak Mountain. The tribe’s Desert Diamond West Casino is 60 miles west, just outside Why, Arizona.
